Hi! My name is Fancy. My foster family calls me “Lowrider” because I’m short but can get around quick! I am a female dachshund mix and weigh about 35 LB. I am between 2 and 3 years old and was spayed as soon as I was rescued from the Lee County Animal Shelter.
My owner turned me in because she didn’t want me anymore. That’s OK because my foster family loves me and I love them. I love to run and play with my foster siblings, especially Jake, the Labrador; he’s my best buddy. I also love my humans and their children; one of my foster mom’s kids sneaks me into his bed at night.
I am house-trained and love to chew on bones. Walks are one of my favorites, too. I do well on a leash. I have a laid-back personality but also will alert you when someone comes into the driveway.
I am up-to-date on all vaccinations and heart worm preventatives.
